The CALA 2019

Roles

The roles of those on the Scientific Committee include to advise on and contribute to various facets of the CALA. This includes:

• To advise on the implementation of activities, schedules, selections, and overall academic quality of the CALA
• To consult as to ways in which the CALA may increase in quality
• To advise on the content and structure of the CALA
• To advise on short and long term strategies of the CALA
• To nominate self or other, or to volunteer for CALA sub committees
• To represent key institutions and networks in Linguistic Anthropology, and other scholarships, globally
• To participate in the sharing of knowledge and expertise in Linguistic Anthropology
• To ensure continued quality and integrity of all aspects of the CALA
• To network with other institutions and bodies
